I first came across this concept when going through 2019 Quantum computing for the very curious which is a short course written by Michael Nielsen. It presented us with flashcards after learning about some difficult concept to see how much we understood. I really liked that and wanted to implement it for myself.
It seems like Andy Matuschak is working on a tool just like that: Orbit (withorbit.com). I’m excited to explore this further and see how I can incorporate it in my workflow.
